It is with great enthusiasm that the Team of Tuttotondo S.r.l. – supported by the incubator Techinnova S.p.A. – announces its participation in the next edition of IFA Next, which will be held in Berlin from September 2 to 6, 2022, at the Messegelände Berlin ExpoCenter City, the Berlin fairgrounds where numerous public and private fairs and events are organized every year.
Tuttotondo was one of the 12 Italian companies selected by ICE-ITA Agency – as part of the promotion of Italian companies and their internationalization – to participate in the IFA Next 2022 fair within the Italy Pavilion; in this context, the ICE Agenzia collective exhibition will be organized on a 100sqm exhibition area and will be set up in open-space locations.
The IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin), one of the oldest technology fairs in Germany, is now one of the largest technology fairs in the world, capable of hosting more than 1,500 exhibitors and up to 200,000 visitors each year who are passionate about products and solutions in the field of advanced technology and consumer electronics. In 2019, at the last regular edition of the fair before the pandemic, there were 1,939 exhibitors from 49 countries on a total exhibition area of about 285,000 square meters. On that occasion, there were 154,996 visitors, with 5,361 accredited journalists.
Within the traditional trade fair format, IFA Next is positioned as a new innovation platform where companies, research and development institutes, universities, start-ups and trade associations present solutions, concepts and product ideas for the markets of the future. The main themes span the following areas: 5G, IoT, artificial intelligence, robotics, Smart Living, VR & AR, future mobility, digital health and sustainability.
It is in this setting that the Tuttotondo Team will have the remarkable opportunity to introduce its ROG and TRATOO R&D projects to major players of international caliber.
ROG (Real Organ Generation) is a highly interactive and responsive software application that enables users to perform virtual surgery simulations of the heart and other organs. Specifically, the software is able to digitize the organ in its true state and size through a patented method of 3D pathological tissue image generation. The software, thus leveraging Virtual Reality and ArtificiaI Intelligence technologies, can localize the exact location of pathologies and allows users to interact with the organ and perform virtual surgical simulation activities. Digital innovation plays a strategic role in many areas, and healthcare is certainly one of the most fertile grounds where technologies can make a difference. Therefore, Tuttotondo has chosen to contribute to the future of the industry with its ROG R&D project in order to address one of the major problems in healthcare: the early and inaccurate diagnosis of dangerous heart and other organ diseases.
TRATOO, on the other hand, is a project that pertains to the Sustainable Tourism sector and brings together three seemingly distant worlds: Culture, Technology and Mixed Reality. Through the use of advanced GPS tracking and Augmented Reality, TRATOO proposes a new approach to the tourism sector, allowing users to create tailor-made itineraries. This is how Tuttotondo has declined the digital technologies of AR and Mixed Reality-implemented by the working group-in the creation of an App for smartphones and latest-generation devices The App is designed to offer visitors guided walking itineraries within cities of art, with the possibility of direct and fast enjoyment of architectural, artistic and cultural heritage: thanks to augmented reality, in fact, it is possible to have access to descriptions and 360-degree videos of monuments that are often difficult to access, such as many churches in Milan. The routes are customizable according to the needs and travel time the tourist can dedicate to the visit; this is thanks to a proprietary GPS tracking software module and the use of artificial intelligence methods to build the pedestrian itineraries.
IFA Next 2022 is therefore an ideal context for Tuttotondo to interact and engage with foreign counterparts, as well as to present, on an international stage, its innovative projects in the medical and tourism fields.
The Tuttotondo Team will be in the Italian ICE Agency collective, located in Hall 20, Stand 335.
